Empower Yourself

Welcome to LRC Research Skills

We've put together several pages to help you navigate the LRC's resources and services.  Have a look at the various tabs for some self-serve learning to make sure you make the most of what we have to offer.  Need further in-depth training?  Contact us and we'd be happy to schedule a session or two.

As a start, you'll want to go to and bookmark this page - this is the LRC's main page and you'll be here often.

What Can We Do For You?

The LRC is the place to go for resources.  What do we have?  Books, eBooks, journals, eJournals, dry lab models, subject guides, audiovisual items.

The LRC is the place to go for research help.  What can we offer?  Training on using our journal and image databases (we can do one-on-one and in-class instruction), instruction on using RefWorks to organize citations and write papers.

The LRC is the place to answer your questions.  What answers do we have?  Guidance on copyright, an interlibrary loan service for resources we don't have, referencing help.

We're here for you.
